Disintegration locks
pulling together in reticence,
laid out and forlorn,
restful in its slumber,
narrowing, prophetic cadence,
cutting air in the back of its throat,
the question of love elicits the echo
of coarse, eccentric cacophony,
a symphony of dissonance,
a symmetry of swans
breaking against
the fluttering horizon.
The cold cutting into the horizon,
the ocean waves frozen in the ebb,
effervescent,
ever felt in
inside the masculine womb.
A turning page,
a pointed play,
a rage to escape inside.
To what pleasure do I owe the nature
of this acquaintance?
Ever spoken and unknown,
in tribal speak
and among friends
the sentiments
are clear.
